This patch can be installed on the following systems:
- NOAH System 3.6.1 (build 2976)
- NOAH System 3.6.1 with Patch A or B
- NOAH Engine 3.6.1
- NOAH Engine 3.6.1 with Patch A or B
- NOAH SDK 3.6.1
- NOAH SDK 3.6.1 with Patch A or B
This patch addresses the following:
NOAH System issues:
- Backup to network drive failing on NOAH System 3.6.1 after installation of patch B (4104)
- Manual numbering reset to Automatic Client numbering in certain situations (3974, 4074)
- Hebrew conversion problem introduced in NOAH System 3.5.2 (3515)
- Purge or restore a large amount of actions may lead to NOAH System crash (1349)
- Memory leak in NOAH Systems Client dialogs (3313)
- Not possible to add new users to NOAH System 3.6.1 with patch B (4105)
- Error message "1037 locale key registry key does not exist" on Hebrew installation (4058)
- Mixup of Discrimination Loss and Discrimination Score translations in NOAHaud report (4045)
NOAH Engine issues:
- Error message: Unable to access globob.stg after restart of NOAH server service (4110)
- Wrong UnBoundActions event is sent from ModuleServer to a module (4069)
- The file sent to eTONA BOS sometimes misses the TransactionItemId field (4056)
- eTONA error: Failed to send/receive when an order is sent a couple of days later (4070)
Plus the following issues that were included in earlier patches
NOAH System issues:
- A backup will fail if the hard disk does not have enough free space for the backup file (3054)
- Upgrading from 3.5.2 Patch A to 3.6.1 now displays correct build number in About box (4008)
- Fixed an issue where exporting and importing Hebrew data resulted in unreadable data (4026)
- Removed an old Backup reminder that in certain circumstances would display every time NOAH launched (4006)
- Fix to a problem where user was deleted in NOAH 2, and data afterwards transferred between NOAH 3 installations fails importing (4041)
- Fixed an Importing issue where NOAH 3.1.2 data imported to NOAH 3.6.1 result in an error message: "Input string was not in a correct format" (4049)
- Fix to an issue where GDI objects leak in the NOAHDatabaseTrayMenu.exe (4002)
- Fixed an issue resulting in a mix up of the client data fields Address 3, Referral, Physician (3999)
NOAH Engine issues:
- Fixed a problem where eTONA fails when adding new eTONA action while existing eTONA actions are being processed (3785)
- Fixed a problem where a NOAH client crashes during eTONA order creation, requiring NOAH server restart (3921)
- Fixed an issue in Genuine Channels where a NOAH client in a network could lockup is certain circumstances (4033)
- eTONA lockup issue in network environment has been fixed (4014)
- The font displayed in the eTONA transaction browser is now the correct size (4016)
- eTONADatamanager now checks and sets the SQL Server autoclose = false (4028, 4029)
- Problem when upgrading to 3.6.1 when a 3.5.2 installation has not got the eTONA database correctly attached is solved (4019)
To ensure that the patch is installed properly:
If you would like to ensure that the patch is installed properly, open NOAH System and choose “About NOAH” from the Help menu. The version number in this window should read 3.6.1 (2976G).
IMPORTANT: Uninstalling this patch will make NOAH System fail to launch.
If you are applying this patch to NOAH System 3.6.1 you should not uninstall this patch. If you do so, you must reinstall NOAH System 3.6.1 to get NOAH System up and running again.
To perform a silent installation of this patch (for office systems only):
- Start the setup with the following commandline:
setup.exe -s -f2"logfilepath\filename"
example: setup.exe -s -f2"c:\program files\himsa\install.log"
- The result of the installation is written in the registry at the following position:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\HIMSA\PatchInstallResult
0: Installation succeeded.
-1: This patch is only for NOAH 3.6.1
