Noah Logging Actions - HIPAA

In order to comply with the HIPAA security rules, all activities related to patient data must be logged. Logging functions only reflect the activity that has taken place but do not record the actual data. The following activities are logged by Noah System:

  1. User Activity: Users logging into and out of the system. Changes to user accounts (add, edit, deleted). Also includes changes to user level rights and login administration (i.e., password expiry, settings, etc.)

    • Edit_User (includes user level they belong to)

    • Change_UserLevel_Rights

  2. Patient Data: Changes to patient demographic data (add, edit, delete, viewing, and printing) (also includes Importing/Exporting data in all supported formats)

  3. Noah Action: Working with Noah based actions such as audiograms, fittings and eTONA transactions (orders, repairs, returns and status updates)
