eTONA FAQs
  Q. What is eTONA?
A. eTONA, or Electronic Transfer of NOAH Actions, allows you to send electronic order, repair and return requests from within NOAH 3 to hearing instrument manufacturers.

You can view each submitted order in eTONA along with its status (e.g., Transmitted, Received, Shipped, etc.). In addition, you can enter and save location information into eTONA, thereby maintaining a list of manufacturers from whom you order.

  Q. Do I need additional software in order to run eTONA?
A. NOAH System version 3.5 and above automatically installs eTONA as a part of its normal installation. This upgrade is free for current NOAH System 3 users. However, before you can use eTONA, you will need to have at least one NOAH 3 compatible order module installed. You can obtain order modules from the hearing instrument manufacturers. Contact these manufacturers for further details.

  Q. How do I use eTONA?
A. In order to use eTONA you will need to install and use product order software from hearing instrument manufacturers.

You access the order software in the same way as you currently access fitting and audiogram modules in NOAH System 3 - via the Module Selection window. Once you have created your order, you can send it electronically. At this point, eTONA will facilitate the electronic delivery of your order and the receipt of status updates.

In addition, you will be able to open eTONA’s Transaction Browser in order to keep track of your submitted orders. And, you will be able save your manufacturers’ addresses within eTONA for easy access.

  Q. I have concerns about sending orders via the Internet. Is eTONA secure?
A. eTONA uses similar security features to those used by online banking institutions, thereby ensuring maximum security when transmitting your product orders.

  Q. I would prefer to send my orders by mail or fax. Is this possible?
A. Yes. If you would prefer not to send your orders electronically, you can still create your orders using the order software, and then simply mail these orders as normal.

  Q. I have no Internet connection. Can I still make use of eTONA?
A. Yes. Even if you have no Internet connection, you can still create your orders using order software. You can browse eTONA’s Transaction Browser in order to keep track of your submitted orders. In addition, you can save your manufacturers’ addresses to eTONA for easy access.

  Q. How much does eTONA cost?
A. eTONA functionality is included as a part of NOAH System 3, Version 3.5 and above. Current NOAH System 3 users can upgrade for free.
