Configuring the test palette in NOAHaud

NOTE:
  • The test palette appears beside the graph/s in the Pure Tone and Speech tabs.
  • If you cannot see the test palette on the Speech tab, then you are in Speech Table Mode. To switch modes, in the Speech tab, click Tools > Profile Options. Select Speech Graph Mode under Graph Layout, then click OK.
  • If you wish to create several test palette configurations, you should create a separate profile for each configuration (refer to Profile options under Related Links to the right of this page). Then select the profile containing your preferred Test Palette when using NOAHaud.

Adding a test to the test palette

  1. Select from one of the following options:
    • If you wish to add a test to the test palette, which will be removed when you close and then re-open NOAHaud, click the Add/Remove Test icon - testpalette2.jpg.
    • If you wish to add a test which will remain on the test palette, click Tools > Profile Options. Then click Palette Options.
  1. The Palette Configuration window opens.
  2. Select a test on the left hand side, then click Add, and click OK.

NOTE: If the test is not listed on the left hand side:

  • Click Cancel, then Cancel again.
  • Click Tools > Global Options. The Global Options window opens.
  • Click New. The Add Test window opens.
  • Enter the test Notation. Use the pull-down menus to fill the remaining fields.
  • Click OK. The test appears in the Global Options window. (NOTE: If this type of test is already in the list, a message will inform you.)
  • Click OK. Then repeat from step 1 above.

Removing a test from the test palette

  1. Click Tools > Profile Options. Then click Palette Options.
  2. The Palette Configuration window opens.
  3. Select a test on the right-hand side and click Remove, then click OK.

Changing the symbols, lines or colours of a test on the test palette

  1. Click Tools > Profile Options. Then click Palette Options.
  2. The Palette Configuration window opens.
  3. Select a test on the right-hand side and click More.
  4. To define a symbol: Double-click on a symbol, then select a new symbol.
  5. To select a line style: Use the pull-down menus.
  6. To select a color: Double-click on the color field.
  7. Click OK to save your changes.
