Exporting and importing profiles in NOAHaud
NOTE: For details on creating and editing profiles in NOAHaud, refer to Profile options under Related Links to the right of this page.

Exporting profiles

  1. In NOAHaud, click Tools > Profile Manager.
  2. Select a profile. Then click More > Export to File. The Save As window opens.
  3. Use the pull-down menu at Save in to select a location in which to save your file - to save the profile to a diskette, select 3½ Floppy. Remember this location as you will need it when you import the file. Enter a name for the file at File name. Click Save.
  4. When the profile has been exported, a message appears, stating Export Complete. Click OK.

Importing profiles

  1. In NOAHaud, click Tools > Profile Manager.
  2. Click More > Import from File. The Open window opens.
  3. Use the pull-down menu at Look in to locate your profile. Then select this profile and click Open.
  4. A message appears asking whether you wish to overwrite your existing global option settings with those in the import file:
    • The import file contains global options in addition to the profile (refer to Global options under Related Links to the right of this page). If you wish to import only the profile, without the global options, click No.
    • If you wish to import the profile, and overwrite your current global options with those in the import file, click Yes. You should only select this option if the PC which created the profile contains global settings which you would like to use.
    • If you are unsure, click No.
  1. The file is imported. Click OK.
