Pure tone tests

Recording pure tone tests in NOAHaud

NOTE: If any of the options in the following sections are missing, refer to Profile options under Related Links to the right of this page.

In NOAHaud, use the arrow keys to move within a section. Use the tab key to move to a new section.

In NOAHaud, open the Pure Tone tab, then click the New Audiogram icon - .
If you are using Audi-Link to automatically record test results, click Audiometers, then select an audiometer. (NOTE: For more details on Audi-Link refer to Audi-Link drivers under Related Links to the right of this page.)
To change the graph display and zoom, click to view a single graph, to view two graphs, to zoom right, to zoom left and to restore right and left graphs.

Select a test on the Test Palette, located by the graphs. (NOTE: If the tests you require, or the symbols for a test, are missing, refer to Test Palette under Related Links to the right of this page.)
To plot points, click directly on the graph OR enter values into the Test Data Table:

Masked Values: EITHER enter values directly into the Test Data Table, OR click Masked on the Test Palette and then click on the graph. The Masked button remains active until you click it again.
Binaural Values: Click Binaural on the Test Palette and then click on the graph. The Binaural button remains active until you click it again.
No Response/Unmeasurable Values: Right-click on the graph and select from the list.
Deleting Points/Curves: Right-click on the graph at the point or curve, then select from the list.

To add comments about the transducer or test conditions, click the Test Conditions icon - . The Test Properties window opens. Enter your comments below Phones and Unaided. Click OK. The comments will appear in the Test Data Table.
To enter details into the Notes panel, use the pull-down menu at Make/Model. The Calibration Date appears automatically. Once you enter a comment at Test Reliability, you can select this from the pull-down menu when recording future tests.

Editing Audiometers: Click on Tools > Calibration Dates. The Audiometers window opens. Use this window to add or rename audiometers, change dates or delete entries.

To change the Pure Tone Average frequencies, click the Change Frequencies icon - . Select values, then click OK.
If you are recording a test that occurred on a previous date, click Edit > Date of Evaluation. Select the date, then click OK.
If you wish to print the test results, first click Audiogram → Report Comments to enter comments, then click the Print icon - .
Click the Save icon - .
