Recording speech tests in NOAHaud

NOTE: If any of the options in the following sections are missing, refer to Profile options under Related Links to the right of this page.

In NOAHaud, use the arrow keys to move within a section. Use the tab key to move to a new section.

  1. In NOAHaud, open the Speech tab, then click the New Audiogram icon - impedance1.jpg.
  2. Graph/Table Mode: To select graph or table mode, click Tools > Profile Options. In the Profile Options window, open the Speech tab. At the Graph Layout section, select graph or table mode. Click OK.
    • Table Mode: Enter test results in the test tables, then proceed to step 3 below.
    • Graph Mode: speech1.jpg
      • Select a test on the Test Palette, located by the graphs. (NOTE: If the tests you require, or the symbols for a test, are missing, refer to Test palette under Related Links to the right of this page.)
      • To plot points, click directly on the graph:
        • Masked Values: Enter values directly into the Test Data Table.
        • Binaural Values: Click Binaural on the Test Palette and then click on the graph. The Binaural button remains active until you click it again.
        • Deleting Points/Curves: Right-click on the graph at the point or curve, then select from the list.
  1. To add comments about the transducer or test conditions, click the Test Conditions icon - speech2.jpg. TheTest Properties window opens. Enter your comments below PhonesUnaided and Spondaic. ClickOK. The comments will appear in the Test Data Table.
  2. In the Notes panel, once you enter a comment at Test Reliability, you can select this from the pull-down menu when recording future tests.
  3. If you are recording a test that occurred on a previous date, click Edit > Date of Evaluation. Select the date, then click OK.
  4. If you wish to print the test results, first click Audiogram → Report Comments to enter comments, then click the Print icon - impedance7.jpg.
  5. After recording your data, click the Save icon - journal4.jpg.
