Changing how NOAH numbers the client records

In Windows click Start > Programs > NOAH System > NOAH Console. Select NOAH System at the lower left of the screen. Open the Configuration tab. This tab allows you to choose between automatic numbering and manual numbering of your client records. By default NOAH System sets the client numbering to Automatic.

Important:
If you are using a NOAH System network, this tab will only be active on the NOAH Server installation. In order to change the client numbering, NOAH System must be closed on the local PC and on all client stations on your network. Modifying client numbering requires NOAH Administrative rights.

Choose the type of numbering you want to use. If you choose Automatic numbering, NOAH System will automatically number the client records for you. This will help ensure that no two clients have the same client number.

For some NOAH users, it may be best to choose Manual numbering. For examples, in some countries it may preferable to use a patient's national health insurance number as their client number. In this case, the user can switch to manual numbering and manually enter the client number in the NOAH New Client window.

When you have chosen, click Apply. A login screen will appear. To be able to save the changes to the client numbering, enter your NOAH administrative username and password.
