Why not Windows XP Home or Windows Media Center?
|IMPORTANT: If a sales representative tells you that Windows Media Center or XP Home will work with NOAH System, do NOT believe it.
While these operating systems are very appropriate for the majority of home users, business owners should be running Windows XP Professional (32-bit version) in order to take advantage of its enhanced network, security and stability features. Since your hearing care practice is a business, it is logical to have an operating system designed for that purpose.
HIMSA has decided to certify and test using the Windows XP Professional version. Since all certification and functionality statements for NOAH 3, as well as fitting and measurement modules, will be made for Windows XP Professional, it is in your best interest to use XP Professional on your NOAH System 3 computer.
Is NOAH compatible with the Macintosh operating system?
