Description
When an entire session is deleted, NOAH System 3 prompts that it is going to delete the referenced action as well. When this choice is canceled, NOAH deletes the action anyway.
Solution
Referenced actions are actions with something in common. A typical example is a fitting being referenced to an audiogram. When deleting a session, NOAH begins deleting each action contained within the selected session. Whenever the delete process finds a referenced action, NOAH prompts you that it is going to delete the referenced action. If you cancel this choice, it would be expected that the data is not deleted. However, NOAH in fact deletes the referenced actions.
If NOAH System has deleted referenced actions, these actions are not completely removed until they have been purged. If these actions have not been purged, you can restore them to your client.
To restore deleted referenced actions and to avoid this problem in future:
- Close the Session Browser if it is open.
- In the Client Register, select a client. Click Tools > Database Administration > Restore Actions. The Restore Actions window opens.
- Select Current client, or All clients. Click OK.
- A window appears listing the deleted actions. Select the Client Name/s at the action/s you wish to restore. Click Restore. The action/s are restored.
- Click Close.
- To avoid experiencing this problem in future, do NOT delete entire sessions. Instead, delete only those actions within a session which you wish to remove.
