Error message: "unrecognized database format"

Description

When logging into NOAH the following error message appears:

Unrecognized database format 'C:\Program Files\HIMSA\NOAH System\LocaleResources\Alphafields.mdb'.

Solution

1. Download the Alphafields.zip file from the table below, then unzip it on your PC.
2. Paste the file into C:\Program Files\HIMSA\NOAH System\LocaleResources. (NOTE: If it is a network installation, the file will be located on the Server installation.)
3. Verify that the file is not set to 'Read only'.
4. Delete any Alphafields.ldb files, if these appear.
5. Run a Compact on the database.
