Description

When installing the NOAH System 3 license file on Windows Vista or 2003 Server, error message 208 appears.

Solution

Option 1

• Download your license file again from the HIMSA registration site (refer to License registration under Related Links to the right of this page).
• Install the license file on the Windows Vista or 2003 Server PC.

Option 2

• Install the license file on another PC with NOAH Server or NOAH Non-Network installed.
• Locate the noah.lf file at C:\Program Files\HIMSA\NOAH System\ ExecutableFiles\NoahComponents\CoreComponents.
• Copy the noah.lf file onto a diskette.
• Paste the noah.lf file on the Windows Vista or 2003 Server PC into C:\Program Files\HIMSA\NOAH System\ ExecutableFiles\NoahComponents\CoreComponents.
• Try to launch NOAH. If it still reports that NOAH is unlicensed it may be necessary to reboot the server.
