Using NOAHlink

How to use NOAHlink to program a hearing instrument.

Setting up NOAHlink

The Settings tab can be used to change the language of the NOAHlink Properties program, select the Battery type your NOAHlink is using, select the Battery warning sound, and access the Diagnostic, Advanced Settings, Performance, Versions and Log tabs.

Connecting and disconnecting NOAHlink

When you install your NOAHlink, it is automatically setup to communicate properly with your computer. In some cases, however, you may want to connect or disconnect NOAHlink manually. Here is how to use the Connect tab.

Set advanced settings

The Advanced Settings tab is used to set a variety of NOAHlink settings including the Power Off time and COM Port settings.

Change the location or size of the NOAH Log

The NOAHlink log records all events that occur with your NOAHlink, including each time it is started up or shut down.

Edit Turning off a USB port's power save option

This applies to Windows XP Pro only.

Running a Performance test

You may wish to run a performance test if your PC is running slowly or cannot retain a connection to NOAHlink.

Viewing diagnostic information

Your NOAHlink support technician may ask for this information when helping to troubleshoot your NOAHlink installation.
