Connect to a second NOAHlink, or from an alternate Windows account

When you install NOAHlink, your PC is connected to a single NOAHlink unit. If you want to have the option to:

  • connect to a second NOAHlink unit in your office
  • connect to your NOAHlink when you are signed in as another Windows user account on your PC

then you will need to use the following procedure:

  1. Select ONE of the following options:
    • In the System Tray, double-click on the Bluetooth icon -

    • OR: In Windows Explorer, open My Bluetooth Places -

  1. On the My Bluetooth Places toolbar, click Bluetooth > Search for Devices. The system may take some time to locate all Bluetooth devices in the area.
  2. Double-click on the NOAHlink device you wish to use.
  3. Right-click on the COM5 icon and select Connect to Bluetooth Serial Port.

  1. IMPORTANT: The Bluetooth PIN Code Required window may appear in the System Tray. In this case:
    • Click on the Bluetooth icon in the System Tray. The Bluetooth PIN Code Request window opens.
    • Enter 1234 at Bluetooth PIN Code, and click OK.

  • Click OK if the COM5 window appears.

  • Right-click on the COM5 icon again, and select Disconnect Bluetooth Serial Port.

  • Open the NOAHlink Properties Program.
  • Click Search. When your NOAHlink has been located, highlight it in the NOAHlink Properties window and click Connect.
  • Click Disconnect. Your NOAHlink is now ready for use.
