  • If you are using the Ezurio Bluetooth device supplied with NOAHlink, DO NOT attach the Ezurio device until advised to in the following steps.
  • If your PC is running the Windows Vista operating system, you must use NOAHlink Properties Program version 1.53.01 or later. To download the latest version of the Properties Program, use the Download link in the right column of this page.

  1. Place a rechargeable/alkaline battery in NOAHlink. If you are using the rechargeable battery supplied with NOAHlink, first charge the battery (click on the Charging/Recharging link in the left-hand menu for instructions). This will take up to 13 hours.
  2. Remove NOAHlink from its charger cradle and place your NOAHlink unit not more than five meters from your PC to ensure adequate wireless communication.
  3. Turn on your NOAHlink. Turn on your PC.
  4. An installation CD is provided with NOAHlink. Put this into your disk drive. If the program does not begin straightaway, use Windows Explorer to locate the Installation folder and double-click on Setup.exe. If you are using downloaded files from the HIMSA website, choose Unzip. After the files have unzipped, click OK. Setup will start automatically.
  5. Select your setup language and click Next.
  6. After preparation completes, click Next. If you are installing on Windows Vista, skip to step 22.
  7. Select one of the following options:
    • Use the Ezurio Bluetooth device supplied with NOAHlink:
      • Click Install NOAHlink Properties and Ezurio Bluetooth Device. Move to Step 10.
    • Use a different Bluetooth device that is already installed:
      • Click Install NOAHlink Properties only. Click Finish at completion, then move to Step 22.
  1. The Install Bluetooth driver window appears. IMPORTANT: Make sure that NO Bluetooth devices are plugged into your computer before you proceed. Click Next.
  2. The NOAHlink Properties program and Bluetooth driver install. After completion, click Finish.
  3. Next you will be prompted to insert the Ezurio Bluetooth device. Click OK.
  4. The Ezurio Pairing Wizard appears. Plug the Ezurio Bluetooth card/adapter into your PC and ensure your NOAHlink is turned on.
  5. If you are installing on Windows XP Professional, continue to the next step. Otherwise, proceed to step 20.
  6. The Found New Hardware Wizard appears. You may need to select No, not this time, and click Next.
  7. The Wizard asks you for an installation method (Note: The text may differ, depending on the driver you are updating). Select Install from a list or specific location (Advanced), then select Next to continue.
  8. Select Don’t search. I will choose the driver to install, then select Next to continue.
