Preventing other Bluetooth devices from accessing your PC

To prevent other Bluetooth devices accessing your PC through the Public Folder created by your Bluetooth installation:

  1. Next to the clock in the lower right-hand corner of your desktop, double-click on the Bluetooth Configuration icon to open the My Bluetooth Places window - BTaccess1.jpg.

  1. In the menu on the top of the window, click on Bluetooth > Advanced Configuration (or Bluetooth Configuration). The Bluetooth Configuration dialog appears.

  1. Click on the Accessibility tab. In the Allow section select Only devices listed below. Then press the Add Device button and select your NOAHlink.
  2. As added security you can uncheck Let other BlueTooth devices discover this computer. Then click OK.
