Error while upgrading NOAHlink software:

OnMaintUIAfter: the installation failed

There are two possible solutions to this error:

Solution 1

1. Locate the file setup.ilg in C:\Program Files\InstallShield Installation\Information\{D2852205-964A-41D8-B463-3D637AE998A1}.
2. Rename this file to setup.ilg.old. (NOTE: You may need to set the folder options to permit you to see hidden files/folders in order to rename the file.)
3. Rerun the NOAHlink installation.

Solution 2

If the above solution does not solve the error, please perform the following steps:

1. Uninstall NOAHlink using Add/Remove Programs in the Control Panel.
2. Open Windows Explorer and delete the NOAHlink folder which is located at C:\Program Files\Common Files\HIMSA Shared.
3. In Windows, click Start > Run, enter regedit and click OK. Open HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\HIMSA and delete the NOAHlink folder. 
4. Reboot your machine.
5. Rerun the NOAHlink installation.
