Troubleshooting NOAHlink

If you cannot locate or connect to the NOAHlink, or you connect but then lose your connection, please try the following suggestions.

If a Windows logon with basic Windows user rights is used to logon to Windows and then NOAHlink Properties is launched, the user will see the error message “DGA_BT_Drv Module has stopped working”.

This article only applies to computers using the Windows 7 (64–bit) operating system with NOAHLink and one of the following modules: GN ReSound Aventa versions 2.95.7.1a, 2.95.6.3; Interton Appraise version 1.50.83; Beltone Solus version 2.7.

Switching to the Microsoft Bluetooth stack

In Windows XP: When you manually add the NOAHlink through Microsoft Bluetooth Devices you will get a screen that reports Completing the Add Bluetooth Device Wizard was successful, but no COM ports have been assigned.

Error while upgrading NOAHlink Properties - OnMaintUIAfter: the installation failed.

This error may appear when trying to connect to NOAHlink.

If you are prompted for a PIN code while attempting to use NOAHLink please follow the provided instructions to resolve the problem.

The Bluetooth PIN code may be requested when connecting to a Bluetooth serial port. Solve this by removing secure connection in My Bluetooth Places.

This error may appear on a NOAHlink installation that has previously worked without problems.

You may experience power problems on your USB port.

NOAHlink loses its connection to the Bluetooth device when the Bluetooth device has been connected to a PC for more than 30000 seconds (eight hours and twenty minutes). An error message “NOAHLink driver error…” is displayed.
