Noah 4 Status Report - Easily upgrade for the latest improvements

 by Product Manager Søren Kristensen

I would like to start by reminding Noah users of how easy and important it is to keep their software up-to-date.

Many Noah 4 users are still using Noah System 4.0 or 4.1.

Version 4.2, available since January, is a free update which offers a range of improvements and fixes. And for most users, it will take less than 20 minutes to upgrade. Simply download the latest Noah version from our website, double-click on the downloaded file and then follow the instructions.

Still Using NOAH 3?

If you are still using NOAH 3, then it REALLY is time to make an upgrade.

Once again, there is no charge for you to download Noah System 4 and upgrade your NOAH System 3 installation. Many distributors will also provide installation support for a minimal fee.

Upgrading a NOAH System 3 installation is relatively painless. As part of the installation, Noah 4 will automatically move your patient data, user settings and fitting and measurement modules over to Noah 4. The installation will even help you update your license registration.

But is it really worth upgrading from NOAH 3 to Noah 4?

If you are in doubt, just read the user story on Tina Kenney HIS in this month’s newsletter.

Help us make Noah even better

Last but not least, the Noah User Group (NUG) continues to grow, as more and more choose to take part in how the Noah software evolves.

A small but dedicated group of Noah Enthusiasts have already participated in our first survey where a lot of new needs were discovered. But are these needs representative of your needs? Do audiologists in the U.S. have the same needs as those in France, Japan or Nigeria?

To ensure that the voice of you and your country are heard, you still have the opportunity to join NUG and take the survey. NUG is an easy and excellent way for you to let us know what you need in Noah. You are always free to decide how much or how little you will participate.

That’s all we have for June. We’ll be off in July, but we will return in August with more Noah news!
