HIMSA follows Microsoft’s lead in ending support for Windows Vista on June 30th 2017

Microsoft has announced that as of April 11th 2017, it no longer supports the Windows Vista operating system. This means that Microsoft will no longer provide new security updates, non-security hotfixes, free or paid assisted support options or online technical content updates.

With this in mind, HIMSA will end support for Windows Vista on June 30th 2017.

Our surveys show us that very few Noah users still use Vista in their practices. A vast majority have already updated their computers to Windows 7, 8 or 10.

For Noah users still using Windows Vista after June 30th, this will mean:

  • Vista will no longer be used in our QA assurance testing and software certification processes
  • HIMSA will no longer consider Vista when developing new versions of Noah 4
  • Windows Vista-related support issues will no longer be addressed on our support site
