HIMSA would like to wish a Happy New Year to all our Noah users and partners, and thank you for your cooperation in 2013.
2013 was in many ways an excellent building year for HIMSA and Noah.
In 2013, our Noah user group (NUG) grew by leaps and bounds, helping us to better understand the needs of Noah users worldwide. The latest result of this cooperation is the release of Noah System 4.4 on January 3rd 2014. Noah 4.4 includes many features requested by our NUG members, including patient categories and user define fields
The Noah 4 community also grew significantly in 2013. Over 30000 Noah licenses have now been registered, and well over half of all active licenses, around 55%, are Noah 4. Not to be outdone, sales of the NOAHlink programming interface have also reached an important milestone, with over 60000 units sold.
We are also happy to report that in 2013, most Noah distributors worldwide complete the Certified Support Training program. The Certified Support seal is your sign that a Noah distributor is well trained in Noah installation and support.
Finally, HIMSA membership also grew phenomenally . In 2013 we added 19 new member companies, including two hearing instrument manufacturers, two business system manufacturers and 14 new web service (WSI) member companies as well. This brings us to a total of over 120 hearing care companies who support the Noah standard!
We are especially excited by the growth of new WSI memberships. We have high hopes for many new and innovative connections to third party software in 2014. For more information on WSI, click here
In 2014, HIMSA hopes we can continue to improve and expand our relationship with Noah users, distributors and member companies. This in turn will help us better meet the needs of the Noah community.
Projects you can definitely look forward to in 2014 are:
• The completion of the new Audiology Module in the first half of the year
• A new update to the Questionnaire Module, including an IOI-HA questionnaire
And hopefully much more.
We wish you a prosperous new year and we look forward to your continued cooperation in 2014.
