2015 was a very eventful year for Noah and Noah products. In this article I will recap the most significant highlights for hearing care professionals.
New Journal Module
It began in March with the release of the new Noah Journal Module. The Journal Module received a major overhaul for better stability and compatibility with Noah System 4 and Noah 4 modules.
Features include a common module design, configurable print reports and quick patient switching. The Journal Module also offers a new search filter and improved data security to comply with new data security standards.
Noah Training Courses
In June, HIMSA in cooperation with Audiology Online announced Noah training for CEU credits.
With this new training initiative, it's now possible for audiology professionals in the USA, Canada, United Kingdom and New Zealand to earn continuing education credits while learning about Noah!
Windows 10 Release
And in August, the HIMSA support department announced that Noah 4.4 and NOAHlink are officially supported on Windows 10! On our website, you can find a list of Noah modules that are certified on Windows 10.
Noah Questionnaire Module
November was particularly busy with two product releases.
The new Noah 4 Questionnaire Module now includes a new questionnaire, International Outcome Inventory – Hearing Aids (IOI-HA), in addition to APHAB and COSI.
What’s more, the module is now based on Noah 4 technology and offers a common Noah 4 interface design and features. For example, you can now open the Questionnaire Module directly from the desktop, without opening Noah first.
The Questionnaire Module can be downloaded from our website
Noah 4.5 with Noah Mobile
Also in November, we were pleased to announce the availability of Noah System 4.5
. Noah 4.5 includes several technology updates for improved performance and stability. Noah System 4.5 also includes the new Audiogram Module and Journal Modules.
However, perhaps the most important future feature in Noah 4.5 is Noah Mobile functionality.
Noah Mobile lays the groundwork for Noah compatible apps on your mobile devices, such as iOS and Android tablets. This means that in the future, it will be possible for you to use mobile apps from HIMSA member companies to work with patients in your Noah 4.5 database.
We hope you are enjoying all these new products and features.
HIMSA would like to thank you all for a wonderful 2015 and we look forward to our continued cooperation in the new year.
