HIMSA offers a number of e-mail based newsletters that you may opt-in to receive.  You may also opt-out at any time by selecting the opt-out link at the bottom of the newsletter.  HIMSA collects and makes use of your email address for this activity.

 

HIMSA Member Companies and Distributors

If your interaction with this website requires special access to controlled content provided by HIMSA, a user account will be created. Controlled access is provided in the following situations:

  • You work for a HIMSA member company and need access to software developer kits and other related software.
  • You are a distributor of HIMSA products
  • You are a technical support specialist participating in a HIMSA certified support engineer programs

If you have a user account, HIMSA collects the following personally identifiable information:

  • Phone Number
  • Address
  • Name of the company that you work for and in some cases, the HIMSA member company you are working for.

HIMSA will use your website account to:

  • Grant and track access to controlled content
  • Track certification course progress and completion
  • Contact you via e-mail to announce new product versions and important technical support matters.

Noah User Group Members (NUG)

Noah user group members provide HIMSA with input to future products and services.  NUG members may also participate in Beta tests of new versions of products.

If you choose to participate in online based surveys, these surveys may also ask generalized questions in regards to the type of hearing healthcare practice that you work for.  Other than that, survey questions are focused on your opinions on different feature ideas.  HIMSA does not share your individual responses with any outside companies.  Your opinions are anonymously generalized in reports that may be presented to HIMSA member companies for product development activities.

HIMSA secures your personal information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. HIMSA secures the personally identifiable information you provide on computer servers in a controlled, secure environment, protected from unauthorized access, use or disclosure.
