January 2019 – Have you noticed in Noah 4.9 that when you export patient records you can choose to encrypt the export file?

If the ‘Encrypt with password’ option is selected, you will enter a password for the export file.  An encrypted export file will end in .enhax instead of the standard .nhax extension.

  • The password must be at least 8 characters
  • The password needs to be known at the office or machine that imports the *.enhax file
  • The location or machine that imports the file must be running Noah 4.9 or later

You have the option of de-selecting the encryption option and Noah will export in the standard .nhax file that is importable on all Noah versions.
