Support Specialist
As a Hearing Care Business, your ability to access patient data and perform daily tasks depends on secure and well-managed passwords.
Whether you’re a front desk staff member, audiologist, or administrator, understanding how passwords work in Noah System is essential to keeping your system running smoothly.
Understanding Your Access
Noah uses three Administrator-defined levels of user access:
- Administrator – Full control over settings and user management.
- Level 1 – Access to most Noah functions.
- Level 2 – Limited access, typically for basic tasks.

What Happens If You’re Locked Out?
If your password was set by an Administrator:
- You cannot change it yourself.
- You must receive it securely from your Administrator.
- If forgotten, only the Administrator can reset it.
If you forget your password and cannot log in:
- Contact your clinic’s Administrator first.
- If the Administrator password is also lost, your Noah distributor can help escalate the issue.
Important Security Reminder:
Never email your Noah database directly to anyone, including HIMSA, without prior instruction. This is not secure and may expose sensitive data. Always wait for guidance from your distributor or support engineer before transmitting any files.
Tips for Noah users
- Keep your password secure
Don’t share it openly or write it down in unsecured places. - Know your access level
If you need more access, speak with your Administrator. - Use individual accounts
Shared logins reduce accountability and can complicate support. - Reach out to your distributor
They are your first line of support for Noah-related issues.
Quick Reminder for Admins
- Enable the Noah login system and password expiration
- Enforce strong passwords (minimum 8 characters, mix of letters, numbers, and symbols).
- Record passwords securely.
- Review user roles regularly to ensure proper access.
- For security reasons, HIMSA will be removing the ADM user when upgrading to Noah System 4.117 and later if it has been left with default settings.
