It has recently come to HIMSA’s attention, via internal discovery, that versions previous to Noah 4.14.3 and 4.15.3 are recording entered search criteria used to find patients.
HIMSA takes controlling personal data very seriously. We are sorry for this issue and have taken the following steps:
- Once the updated version is installed, the impacted logs will be deleted, and moving forward the entered search criteria will not be recorded.
- We have enacted ongoing test steps to ensure that this does not happen in the future.
Q: Are the log files file made available online or shared in any way?
A: No, the impacted log files are stored on each PC only
