Many hearing care professionals live by the old adage “If it’s not broke, don’t fix it”.

However, if you are already in the process of replacing your PCs, then it is the perfect time to finally make the upgrade for your Noah software as well.

Upgrading Noah to the latest support version can help you avoid costly and disruptive downtime for your business. And the new versions of Noah also support the latest Windows versions and technologies.

Which Noah Version are you running?

To see which Noah version you are currently running, open Noah and choose About Noah from the Help menu.

If you are running Noah version 4.9 or later on a Windows 10 PC, then your upgrade should be relatively easy using the latest Noah download from the HIMSA website. You can first upgrade to Noah 4.14, and then upgrade to Noah 4.15 and the new SQLite database.

Still using Noah 4.8 or earlier?

HIMSA’s recommendation is to upgrade to a Noah version that was tested for that Noah release. This may mean that for unsupported Noah versions, you will need to update Noah in several steps.

For more information on the best upgrade path for your Noah version, see our website page: Upgrade Path for Unsupported Noah System Versions.

How about an upgrade to Noah ES?

Purchasing new PCs can mean a new start for your business IT infrastructure.

While you are at it, why not make the upgrade to our cloud-based version of Noah, Noah ES as well?

With Noah ES, Noah Services reside and are maintained in the cloud, including database backup, maintenance, security monitoring and user authentication. This means less maintenance work for you, as well as easy access to your patient data from home and on the road. For more information on the benefits of Noah ES, click here.
