Backing Noah up to a network location results in error 50137. The error message points to a lack of drive space, but if you receive this error after changing the default backup location to a network location, it is almost always a permissions issue.

  • In the Noah Console check that you can perform a manual backup of the Noah database to the default local location: C:\ProgramData\HIMSA\Noah\Backup\Database
  • Next, be sure that you are not using a mapped drive to the backup location but instead use a UNC path
  • In the Backup Scheduler add credentials for an account with permissions to the backup location. Details here.

In some cases, if the correct permission cannot be allowed, locations have created a schedule task to move the backup from the default location to a secure location.
