As mentioned in an earlier newsletter, Microsoft will be ending support for Windows 7 in January, less than two months from now.

Over the years, Windows 7 has proven to be a very stable and reliable operating system.

However, after over 10 years on the market, Windows 7 has begun showing its age, and we have noticed a rise in support issues for HIMSA products installed on the Windows 7 operating system.

And with Microsoft’s end of support in January, these unexpected issues will only increase.

Don’t wait too long

Unsupported software is an accident waiting to happen.

End of support means no more bug-fixes, security patches or new functionality, making users significantly more susceptible to malware attacks.

And since unsupported Windows versions cannot ensure continued compatibility with Windows updates and technology required by newer Noah module versions, HIMSA will no longer certify modules on Windows 7 after January.

For these reasons, HIMSA strongly recommends that you use Windows 10 on all your Noah System PCs.

Microsoft recommends using Windows 10 on a new PC to take advantage of the latest features and security improvements.
